Everyone loves updates! It's been pretty hectic for us the past 2 months, so we're sorry for not posting as much as I would like.
Some of my family came down Wednesday for my graduation from the Utah College of Massage Therapy on March 19, 2009. The ceremony was good, and only lasted about an hour. We went to red robins afterward for milkshakes and delicious garlic Parmesan cheese fries..!
Justin has been selling computer parts and other random stuff on ebay so that's been profitable! We can now afford to get the second dresser we need and want from Ikea this week.
Saturday we're going to Idaho Falls for a wedding. We'll be staying over night because we don't want to drive in the dark so we'll come home Sunday morning.
so.. that's about it! :)

Fish Lake
Well, it's been a while since either Tennille or I has posted anything, so I though I'd share some photos & details from my near annual ice fishing trip to Fish Lake, UT:
The day we left, the weather was a little iffy. It was snowing a bit here in the valley, and the forecast was calling for 12"-18" in the mountains where we were going. Everything was clear and fine until about 3 miles from where we were stopping. This is what it looked like when we arrived:

We spent the next couple days fishing. I didn't catch much beyond a dozen yellow perch and a baby splake trout (leatherman used for scale among other things):
If you've never been ice fishing before, here's a panorama give you a sense of the solidarity:

On a side note, I don't know if I'll be continuing the Picture a Day thing. It's surprisingly time consuming to not only take the picture (which isn't that much time), but posting it and everything that goes along with that. I will however turn it into more of featured photo thing and would still like to make it a frequently update thing. Maybe once a week or something.

Foggy Night
So, it's kind of the big weather news today, and this isn't the best representation of how crazy thick this stuff is, but fog did roll in tonight. It was actually so thick that visibility was easily down to 1-2 feet. It's pretty darn hard to see more than a half block away. Here's the picture for today that I shot:
All the other pictures I shot were too blurry, but believe me, this was some thick fog! Here's another photo that's not my picture of the day:
If that's not enough to convince you that this was thick fog, they even had to close the airport.

School Update
Just so you guys know, I've decided to not do the Esthitician schooling. I'm going to take a few classes for Photography at SLCC. I've always loved photography so, I think that is a better route. Doing something that I know I like ;)
On another school note, I've found out that my graduation date may be Thursday, Mar. 19 and not the 13th. I'm going to ask on Tuesday for sure, but I think that is what the date is.

Update
Sorry I haven't posted a new photo in several days. I just haven't come across anything that was either good enough to take a picture of or didn't turn out well enough to post. I hope to have something up over the weekend.

Esthetics or A New Car or BOTH?!
So, my school (Utah College of Massage Therapy) is starting a new program on March 16 for Esthetics. "The program offers instruction in basic facials, color theory, makeup artistry, body treatments, aromatherapy, natural nails, cosmetic chemistry, and hair removal....The most in-demand spa professionals are those who are dually licensed – as Estheticians and Massage Therapists."
So, I am thinking about doing it. Yes it's more money, but I have the potential of makeing more money to. I'm not sure yet how long the program is, I've been told it's not a year, so I'm guessing probably about 8-9 months. Which means I'd probably be graduating from that program in December. Plus the bonus is that I won't have to start paying back my student loans until next year, so that would give me time to get my credit card paid off so the only thing I have to worry about is the student loans. And I'll hopefully be getting paid a lot after graduating and getting a good job somewhere. So hopefully I will be able to pay off the loans in a timely fashion.
However, on the other hand, I need a car. I can't share one with Justin. After I graduate I'll most likely be getting a job else where and I'll need some way of getting there. So...That's sort of a priority isn't it? But at the same time, being a massage therapist AND esthitician means I wouldn't have to do MT all the time. I could switch. Or I could go to school for something else. I need something else to do besides MT I think.
On the other other hand, i could probably aford to do both if I get a good $5,000 car.
I don't know. What do you guys think? I need guidance.
